Sarah's Garden

62" x 70"

This quilt was made using a quick and easy method for drunkard's path blocks; no curved piecing!  The curves are machine appliquéd using the starch method. It's a great fat quarter project.

Maple Sugar

49" x 54"

This is an easy pieced quilt with only one block. I chose a limited color palettes of pinks and browns which reminded me of the annual Maple Sugar Festival held each spring in the Ohio county where I grew up. It would be also beautiful in a scrappy array of rich autumn colors

Prairie Baskets

63" x 63"

Lovely in any combination of colors

Prairie Rose

48" x 48"

I have always admired the red and green appliquéd quilts of the 1800's so I was inspired to make this variation of a Rose and Sharon design

Blue Bonnets

54" x 54"

Easy piecing and appliqué

Lady of the Lake

54" x 54"

The "Lady of the Lake pattern was originated in 1810 in Vermont, named after the novel by Sir Walter Scott.  It is a wonderful pattern to showcase the Civil War fabrics, but would also be beautiful in brights, pastels, or any scrappy combination

Simply Stellar

48" x 60"

This is a fun quilt to make using a variety of fabrics. I have used some wonderful indigo blues and shirtings for a two color scrappy look. The white stars are formed by the sashing and corner blocks.

Starlight Starbright

48" x 54"

This is a great project for using up some of those small scraps that have been accumulating. Each star has three fabrics; one for the background and two for the star.
